Make a free Christmas wishlist with gifts from different shops, everyday treats and wishes that do not need a link. Share one list with your family and give them room to choose.
A book, a baking tin and the coffee you always choose can share the same list, even when they come from different shops. Paste the exact product link or type a wish such as ‘a homemade cake’.
Choose a list title that makes the occasion clear, then check the size, colour or edition you mean. Product previews depend on what the retailer makes available.
Include smaller treats alongside bigger ideas. A Christmas list is a set of clues, so people should be free to choose something that suits their own budget.
Use the gift finder to browse ideas under £5, £10 or £25. Prices are dated checks and may change, and postage may sit outside the displayed amount.
Use Share on your list and send its dedicated sharing link by WhatsApp or email. Your relatives can view the ideas and reserve a gift before buying. They still need to check stock, the current price and delivery with the retailer. A reservation helps them coordinate; it does not confirm an order.
Anyone holding the link can view that list. Keep home addresses and sensitive information out of your notes, and share delivery details privately when needed. Read our WhatsApp sharing guide if you are sending a list for the first time.
Keep a little surprise.
Maintain the list through your own account rather than its buyer view if you want reservations to remain a surprise. Remove something you buy for yourself and add alternatives when a product disappears. The list cannot detect purchases made outside it, so remind buyers to reserve their chosen wish.
Planning a group exchange too? Start a Secret Santa draw, then attach your wishlist after joining. Each participant’s invitation is separate from the list link and should be sent directly to its intended recipient.
A little workshop for the children.
Letters to Santa has its own space for decorating a letter and collecting Christmas wishes. A grown-up can review the ideas before creating or sharing a list. Keep the creative part fun, then handle account details and sharing together.
If you are planning further ahead, our Secret Santa 2027 checklist helps you record this year’s lessons and reconfirm your group next year. Use a fresh draw and updated wishes for the next exchange.
Your Christmas list questions
How do I make a Christmas wishlist online?
Sign in to Wishmingle, create a list for Christmas and add shop links or written wishes. Check the details, then use Share to send the dedicated list link to your gift buyers.
Can family reserve gifts without spoiling the surprise?
Buyers can reserve wishes through the sharing link. Your owner view keeps reservations out of sight, but opening the shared buyer view may reveal them. A reservation is not a purchase.
Can my child write a letter to Santa?
Yes. Our separate Letters to Santa page lets children decorate a letter. A grown-up can review wishes and use the gift-list tools to share approved ideas with family.
