THE DETAILS BEHIND OUR GUIDES
How we prepare
our guides.
Wishmingle is an independent wishlist and Secret Santa project operated by Gianni Old in the United Kingdom. Our guides help you use the tools, plan a gift exchange and choose useful clues for your list.
AI assistance and the limits of our advice
Our guides are prepared with AI assistance. We do not present them as independent hands-on product reviews or claim that a product has been tested when it has not. Gift ideas are suggestions to help you decide what to investigate at the retailer.
Explaining our own tools
Instructions describe Wishmingle’s implemented features and their limits. The Secret Santa generator supports 3 to 30 people. You send invitations yourself and the organiser can inspect assignments. Saving or reserving a gift does not purchase it. Prototype browser tools are described as prototypes.
Sources and comparisons
Provider comparisons identify Wishmingle as their publisher. They use public provider documentation, link to the sources and show a check date. They do not establish an overall winner or claim independent testing of every feature. Check the provider’s current documentation before relying on a feature.
Prices, stock and photographs
Catalogue prices are dated checks, rather than live offers. The retailer controls the current price, seller, variants, stock, delivery and returns. Some guide photographs are illustrative. A photograph does not prove that an item is included in a product or available at a stated budget.
Affiliate funding
Some shop links earn commission on qualifying purchases. These are marked with an asterisk and explained before the affected shopping section. Commission is not evidence of product quality, popularity or suitability. Read how our shop links work.
Dates and corrections
Article update dates reflect substantive changes, rather than every site build. Older guides can become outdated. If you spot an error, email info@wishmingle.com with the public page address and the detail you think needs correcting. Please leave out passwords, invitation links and private wishlist information.
