A BUDGET EVERYONE CAN AGREE ON

Your Secret Santa plan.
Ready to share.

Set your spending limit, work out the combined gift budget and prepare a short set of rules for friends, family or colleagues. Copy or print your plan for free, without an account.

Secret Santa usually means each person buys one gift for an assigned recipient. Your combined gift budget is the number of participants multiplied by the limit per person. It is a maximum, rather than a target everyone needs to spend.

£15.00 maximum per person

£120.00 combined gift budget for 8 people

For example, 8 people at £15 each gives a £120 combined gift budget. Each person buys one gift. Postage and wrapping must fit inside that limit.

Your entries stay in this page while it is open. This planner does not create a group or save your plan to an account. Use Copy or Print to keep it.

Agree the awkward bits early

Ask your group about the budget before drawing names. Agree whether delivery and wrapping count, when gifts will be exchanged and how you will handle someone dropping out. Keep addresses and private invitation links out of a shared rules message.

Check exclusions before the draw and leave enough time for shopping. Retailer delivery promises vary, so this planner does not invent a Christmas delivery deadline.

Your planning questions

How do you calculate a Secret Santa group budget?

Multiply the number of people by the gift limit per person when everyone buys one gift. Eight people with a £15 limit have a maximum combined gift budget of £120. Agree whether postage and wrapping are included.

Can I print the Secret Santa rules?

Yes. Set your group size, spending limit and optional exchange date, then use Print or save as PDF. You can also copy the plan into your own group message. No account is needed for the planner.

Does the planner draw names or send invitations?

No. It prepares your budget and rules. Use Wishmingle’s separate Secret Santa generator to create a draw for 3 to 30 people. You send the individual invitations yourself.
